Court registry fee for a bankruptcy petition 2025

Back to overview

8 March 2023

In some cases the inevitable cannot be avoided.

The debts of yourself or your debtor get so out of hand that a bankruptcy petition becomes an option: for your own company or for someone else's.

In this case, only the party who files for the bankruptcy of his/her debtor has to pay a court registry fee.

Someone who files for his/her own bankruptcy therefore does not have to pay a court registry fee. You also do not have to pay any court registry fees if you contest the petition for your own bankruptcy.
