As soon as you visit our website www.breyta.nl or contact us, we may receive information. In this privacy statement we explain what we do with that information. We always handle your information carefully and store it securely.

Processing of personal data

Breyta uses the personal data you provide for entering into and carrying out assignments and for managing the client relationships arising from them. Personal data is only made available to third parties insofar as this is necessary for carrying out assignments. For the rest, the personal data is processed solely with your consent and for the purpose for which you provided it. Breyta processes the personal data below via its website:

  • Contact form: When completing the contact form, the following personal data is processed: your name, gender (for a correct form of address), company name, telephone number, address details and email address. This data is necessary to contact you or carry out your assignment.
  • Submitting a collection: When submitting a collection assignment, the following personal data is processed: your name, gender (for a correct form of address), company name, telephone number, email address, address details, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number and IBAN. This data is necessary to carry out your assignment.
  • Logging into the online portal: When logging into the collection portal, the following (personal) data is processed: your username and password. This data is necessary to be able to log into your account in the portal for access to your files.

Security

Breyta has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure your personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. Logging into the portal is secured with password protection. Persons who have access to your personal data on behalf of Breyta are bound to confidentiality, among other things on the basis of the codes of conduct and professional rules applicable to them. Any third parties engaged to carry out assignments are likewise bound to confidentiality.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep personal data for as long as we are required to do so by law and for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which we use your data. For example, as long as you are a client of ours, we keep your data in accordance with the statutory retention period of seven years. After that, we only keep your data for statistical purposes and to handle any complaints or legal matters. Cookies

Cookies are small files containing information that are stored on your computer by your browser. Breyta uses cookies to recognise you on a subsequent visit and to remember your settings and preferences. Cookies are also used to collect information about the use of our website and to optimise the functioning of our website.

Our cookies provide information relating to personal identification. Cookies are also used by Google Analytics and various social media. You can set your browser so that you do not receive cookies when visiting our website, but the website may then not function optimally.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a tool from Google that tracks how users use our website. Google Analytics collects the data anonymously and processes the data thus obtained into reports that provide insight into the use and effectiveness of the website and Adwords advertisements. These reports cannot be traced back to individual visitors.

Social media

Because we use your personal data, you have various rights:

How do I submit a request or complaint?

Send your request or complaint to us via info@breyta.nl. We process your request or complaint within 30 days. For complex requests this may take up to 60 days; in that case we will contact you in good time. We may ask you to identify yourself to ensure that the data goes to the right person.

What rules apply to this privacy statement?

Our privacy statement complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG). In addition, the general rules under Dutch law apply.
