Once you visit our website www.breyta.nl or contact us, we may receive information. In this privacy statement, we explain what we do with that information. We always handle your information with care and store it securely. Do you have any questions or want to know what information we hold about you? If so, please contact us. We may amend this privacy statement if we find it necessary. We therefore recommend that you review this privacy statement regularly so that you are aware of any changes. Processing personal data

Breyta uses the personal data provided by you to enter into and carry out assignments and to manage the resulting client relationships. Personal data will only be made available to third parties to the extent necessary to carry out assignments. For the rest, personal data are only processed with your consent and for the purpose for which you have provided them. Breyta processes the personal data below through its website:

  • Contact form

When completing the contact form, the following personal data are processed: your name, gender (for the purpose of a correct salutation), company name, telephone number, address details and e-mail address. This data is necessary to contact you or carry out your order.

  • Submit collection

When you submit a direct debit order, the following personal data are processed: your name, gender (for the purpose of a correct salutation), company name, telephone number, e-mail address, address details, Chamber of Commerce number and IBAN. These data are necessary to execute your order.

  • Login online portal

When logging in to the debt collection portal, the following (personal) data are processed: your user name and password. This data is necessary to log into your account in the portal to access your files. By using your account in the portal, you do not have to provide the data necessary for submitting an order separately with each order.

Security

Breyta has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure your personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. Logging in to the portal is password protected. Persons who have access to your personal data on behalf of Breyta are bound to secrecy, inter alia on the basis of the rules of conduct and profession applicable to them. Any third parties engaged to carry out assignments are also bound to secrecy.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep personal data for as long as we are required to do so by law and as long as necessary for the purpose for which we use your data. For example, as long as you are a customer with us, we keep your data according to the statutory retention period of seven years. After that, we keep your data only for statistical purposes and to handle any complaints or legal matters. If you want to know more about how long we keep specific data about you, please contact us.

Cookies

Cookies are small files containing information that your browser stores on your computer. Breyta uses cookies to recognise you on your next visit and to remember your settings and preferences. Cookies are also used to collect information about the use of our website and to optimise the functioning of our website. Our cookies provide information relating to personal identification. Furthermore, cookies are used by Google Analytics and various social media (about which more below). You can set your browser so that you do not receive cookies when visiting our website, but the website may then not function optimally.

Google analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a Google tool that tracks how users use our website. Google Analytics collects the data anonymously and processes the data thus obtained into reports that provide insight into the use and effectiveness of the website and Adwords ads. Social media

What can you ask of us?

Right to information
We need to explain to you in a comprehensible and clear way what we do with your data and what control you have over it. We therefore explain in detail in this privacy statement what data we collect from you and how we handle your data.

Right of inspection
You may always ask us to see the data we hold on you.

Right of rectification
You may ask us to correct your data if it is incorrect or incomplete.

Right to object
You may object to the processing of your data if you disagree with the way we handle your personal data. This right applies to the data we use for direct marketing. For example, you can indicate to us that you no longer wish to receive mail from us. This also applies to personalised recommendations on our website.

Right to data portability
If you are a customer of ours or have given us permission to use your data, you may ask us to send you the digital data we hold about you. This will allow you to transfer that data to another organisation if you wish.

Right to limitation
You may ask us to limit the use of your data. This means that in certain cases we may only keep your data but not use it.

Right to be forgotten

In that case, it is the court in Breyta's place of business that will handle your complaint.

How do I submit an application or complaint?
Send your enquiry or complaint to us at info@breyta.nl. We will process your request or complaint within 30 days. If it involves multiple applications or complaints or if your application or complaint is complex, it may take longer. In that case, we will contact you within 60 days at the latest. We may ask you for identification. In that case, we will request data from you to make sure that you are the correct person whose personal data belongs to.

What rules apply to this privacy notice?
Our privacy statement must comply with several conditions. In particular, you will find these conditions in the General Data Protection Regulation. In addition, the general rules applicable under Dutch law apply to our privacy statement.
